Angelina Jolie's role was replaced by Megan Fox in the film Tomb Raider

Ten years after Lara Croft's last theater invasion, "Tomb Raider" will hit the big screen again.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Graham King, who produced "The Departed" and "The Town," has acquired the film rights for the buxom treasure hunter and intends to reboot the franchise with a new film in 2013.

Angelina Jolie brought the video game heroine to life in 2001's "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" and 2003's "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider -- The Cradle of Life," but it doesn't look likely that she'll be continuing with the saga.

King worked with Jolie in "The Tourist," but apparently hasn't expressed any interest in returning to her character.

EW points out that a "true reboot" would require a new star anyway, but it seems to us that Jolie's sexy action star days are far behind her. Sorry, but "Salt" and "The Tourist" are not comparable "Tomb Raider," okay?

At 35-years-old it's not so much her physical age that we think would keep her from playing a believable Lara Croft, it's her entire life shift since the fateful "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." And by that, we mean her relationship with Brad Pitt.

Maybe it's just us, but we just don't see Jolie as the hot, gun-slinging girl in the tiny shorts anymore. We see her as a mom, humanitarian and practically a wife, which is totally fine -- but far as we're concerned, there's no going back.

We're not ignoring the generally positive reviews of her performance as Evelyn Salt, either. Artistic growth is great and all (if you can even call it that), but we imagine there's got to be just a pang of jealousy when some young hottie with a body that won't quit hits the big screen in those shorts that she made famous.

Which brings us to our next point, who should star as the next Tomb Raider?

Obviously Megan Fox jumps to mind, but rumors have been circling the web that Olivia Wilde may be in talks for the role. Weigh in below and tell us who you think could do the franchise justice.
