Amy Adams Officially Be Lois Lane in 'The Man of Steel'

Stars of 'The Fighter', Amy Adams will chip in his acting in the latest version of 'Superman'. Directed by Zack Snyder hook the 36-year-old actress for the role as Lois Lane.

As reported by ShowbizSpy on Monday (3/28/2011), Snyder said Adams is a very appropriate choice. According to him, Adams could be presented as a female character Lois Lane is smart and tough.

"For us, Lois is a very important figure. We've had a lot of casting an actress, but after meeting Amy Adams, we felt he was the most suitable," said Snyder, who just released his latest film, 'Sucker Punch'.

Amy began her career as on the big screen via the 'Drop Dead Gorgeous' in 1999. Recently, Amy huge success thanks to her role as Charlene Fleming in 'The Fighter'. He received several awards and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards 83.

In 'The Man of Steel', Amy will compete acting with Henry Cavill who plays Clark Kent.
