Katrina Hodge, Miss England Warring Soon

WHEN discussing predicate beauty queen, who crossed the minds of many people probably is the figure of a beautiful woman wearing tiaras and waving, smiling broadly. But it is different with Katrina Hodge. Former Miss England this one, it used to bear arms.
Soon, the 24-year-old woman will be sent to Afghanistan as a corporal in the British Armed Forces.
''This is definitely a lifestyle change, from the usual hair styled and face the usual makeup every day, to be in battle and unkempt hair,''said Hodge, who won the title as Miss England 2009, as quoted by The Daily Mail.

Career soldier Unlike most other beauty queens, Hodge started his career as a soldier at the age of 17 years. That decision he took after his brother challenged him to join the armed forces. After basic training, Hodge was assigned to Royal Anglican Regiment, as a member of the Adjutant General Corps.

Name Hodge achieved fame when British newspapers began to write stories about him. In 2005, she received praise for his bravery while fighting in Iraq.
