CATHERINE Zeta-Jones is planning to make a movie about mental illness.
The Welsh actress is being encouraged to raise awareness of bipolar disorder in a documentary.



“Catherine is very interested in the idea – both as a way of coming to terms with the condition and as a way of breaking down certain prejudices surrounding mental illness,” reveals a source close to the actress and husband Michael Douglas.



“Catherine has long had the intention of turning her hand to film making and this is something she feels passionate about.”
Recent reports claimed Catherine has officially joined the all-star cast of Rock of Ages, the big-screen adaptation of the hit, hard-rock Broadway musical.
“It’s a new character created just for the screen,” a source told Us Weekly magazine.
“She’s playing the mayor’s wife…Basically she’s the villain of the film. She wants to get rock and roll out of Los Angeles!



“Catherine is a hard-working actress, beautiful and talented. You never hear a bad word about her.
“And she won an Oscar for Chicago, a musical. This is perfect for her.”

'I now work out three times a week for an hour at a time and I’ve cut out the rubbish from my diet.
'I feel more confident about my body now but, like any girl, I have my hang-ups. I’ve always had problems getting a flat stomach.
It seems Miss Bright prefers the natural look, shunning the plastic surgery favoured by her co-stars.
'I’d love bigger breasts – I’m a 32B – but I’d never get a boob job as I prefer looking natural,' she insists. 'And I don’t get why people have Botox in their 20s.'
She adds: 'I love being a size 8, but I won’t lose any more weight. Girls look better with curves – just look at Kelly Brook and Beyoncé'
Fans watched as Lydia finally ended her three-year relationship with 'Arg' after weeks of heartbreaking deliberation in a recent episode.
But her ex is already missing her and admitted in an interview this week that he would propose to her if it meant winning her back.

Irina has been dating midfielder Cristiano Ronaldo since the beginning of last year. 

The 26-year-old football superstar is renowned for dating models, having previously been in relationships with busty Nereida Gallardo and former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson.

Elin Nordegren has plunked down $12.2 million of her $110 million settlement for a 17,178-square-foot beach-front property in North Palm Beach, just 10 miles from Tiger's new pad in Jupiter, Fla.
According to Palm Beach County records, Nordegren bought the two-story mansion--which boasts eight bathrooms and a 4,700-square-foot basement--in February through one of her divorce lawyers, Dennis Belcher.
In October, the Swedish former model toured a $5 million penthouse apartment in Jupiter Island, where Tiger Woods' new home is being built. 
Last week, Woods announced that he'd be moving into his 12-acre $50-million bachelor pad soon, which includes a 6,400-square-foot gym/media room/bar, an elevator, a reflecting pond, a lap pool, and a 3.5 acre practice facility.
"[The practice facility] features four greens, six bunkers with different depths and kinds of sand, a video center and a putting studio," Woods wrote on his blog last week. "It's also set up so I can hit shots out of my second-story studio."
The former couple, who finalized their split in August 2010, agreed to live near each other for the sake of their children, Sam and Charlie.

Dancing's Petra Nemcova : I Hope I Can Break the Model Curse

It's all-American week on Dancing with the Stars — a theme near and dear to Petra Nemcova's and Dmitry Chaplin's hearts because they weren't born in the United States. "It's quite special for me and Dmitry," Nemcova tells TVGuide.com. "The quickstep will be a thank you for all the opportunities we've received coming to America." So what can we expect from their dance? Find out below. Plus: Why is she a clumsy elephant?

How's the quickstep coming?
Petra Nemcova: Very well. It's different from the devilish paso doble! Now I can be smiley and more myself, which is definitely more enjoyable. But it's all-American week and we want to say thank you. We accomplished our dreams because of the openness of everyone's hearts here in America. My dream was to help children and I was fortunate to establish the Happy Hearts Fund. One of the greatest things about Americans is that there's such a strong philanthropic identity in the DNA of the U.S. It's such a charitable nation, so it's a thank you for all the opportunities not only for my dreams, but for the dreams of children all around the world.

Are you telling a story throughout the dance?
Nemcova: We do have a story, but it's not related to the thank you, because the song is about a special city in the U.S. There's no other place like this city, so we kind of had to make it more themed about the city. The singer of the song is one of the greatest in history, so we're very excited about it. I think it's going to be great.

Did you have any trouble learning the choreography?
Nemcova: There are so many fast steps! I was a bit afraid of the quickstep because everyone said it was challenging. It's definitely fast and it's a challenge, but I'm enjoying it. I'm picking it up. I still have to work on many things. And the stamina — it's crazy at the end, you're just like, "Oh my God!" Dmitry needs extra energy, but I need new feet! They are burning! It's a stamina dance, but it's good to be able to smile through it.

He doesn't have to coach you to be happy.
Nemcova: [Laughs] Nope! Last week was so funny. He worked very hard to make me angry! Every week, he takes a different approach, depending on the dance. Last week, he was trying to piss me off for the whole week and teasing me, holding my legs. Every week is a different challenge — different character, different pain! You feel pain in different parts of your body. Last week, it was the lower back for the paso. This week is my feet. The waltz was my neck. There are different bruises in different places. I should be marking waltz bruises and paso bruises.

You suffered a serious hip injury in the 2004 tsunami. How concerned are you about re-aggravating it or getting another injury?
Nemcova: I definitely am concerned when we do tricks, like for the jive. I had a time trusting Dmitry to slide through his legs and jump in the air without bumping my pelvis. It was hard to overcome that. My pelvis definitely hurts. That's one thing that is constant. But I get massages to release the tension. I have a girlfriend staying with me and she's an amazing acupuncturist, so she always helps me. I'm afraid it's going to lock and I'm not going to be able to take a step. I'm trying not to go overboard [in rehearsals], but I'm also trying not to be afraid because when you're afraid, you can cause more problems.

The judges have said you need to work on your core strength. Are you doing anything to improve that?
Nemcova: We are doing ballet. It's amazing for many things: fluidity, being more balanced, being more aware of your body. Before the show, I was really not aware of my body, what every muscle does. Most of my time was spent creating programs for children and strategies — mental work, nothing physical. I had no dance background. I'm a clumsy elephant — not coordinated. I have a really heavy walk. My sister used to make fun of me that I danced and walked like an elephant. Dmitry was saying in the beginning that he was teaching me how to walk. Now I can pick up steps better and I'm more aware of my body. It's exciting because you learn not just ballroom dancing, but how you can overcome anything when your mind doesn't block you. You cannot focus on the worst.


You've done well with ballroom and Latin dances. Do you prefer one over the other? You did get a 25 with the waltz.
Nemcova: I love the waltz. The story behind it and the song is very dear to me. Dmitry did amazing choreography for that. I think the ballroom dances fit me better than the Latin ones just because I'm really tall. It's more challenging doing Latin. You need much more speed and effort for Latin because you have [to cover] more distance for any type of kicks. And you see more of the legs and you can see more mistakes. I enjoyed the paso. It was hard one, but fun. Ballroom — it seems like I can master it better and faster than Latin.

Models haven't fared that well on Dancing. Do you think you can break the model curse?
Nemcova: [Laughs] We'll see what will happen. Hopefully I can break the curse! Honestly, for me, it's not about going from Point A to B, but enjoying the journey throughout. If there's a week where it's the last one, then I have to do something else and that will be focusing on rebuilding schools for children, which is a great thing to go back to. Life in general to me is about the journey. Even the dancing — dancing with purpose to raise awareness for children who were victims of natural disasters. I will be doing the same thing after this, but reusing different parts of my body. I may have to ice down my brain instead of my feet then!

“She eats what I eat. She’s on a lacto-vegetarian Indian diet.
“She’s still breastfeeding, that’s where the lacto part comes in. She can’t eat the spicy food that I love since it would be too hard on her system but other than that she’ll eat the foods that I make for her.”

Gwyneth Paltrow's Butt Requires Lot of Work

GWYNETH Paltrow says the hardest part of her body to keep looking good is her butt.
The Country Strong star works out almost every day to stay in shape, and when she first started getting serious about exercise and healthy eating her trainer Tracy Anderson told she needed to change her “square” derriere.
“My butt! My butt, butt, butt,” Gwyneth told Self magazine. “When Tracy met me, she said that I had a long, square butt that she was going to redesign, and I was like, ‘Yeah? Good luck.’ The amazing thing is, she was right! And it’s still changing!”
The 38-year-old actress — who has children Apple, six, and Moses, five, with her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin — insists the secret to staying slim is finding a fitness and diet regime that works for you and can be maintained.
And Gwyneth is adamant it’s important to allow yourself occasional indulgences otherwise you get bored.
“I do 45 minutes of cardio five days a week, because I like to eat. I also try for 45 minutes of muscular structure work, which is toning, realigning and lengthening. If I’m prepping for something or I’ve been eating a lot of pie, I do two hours a day, six days a week for two weeks,” she said.
“I say I always eat right, but the other night I had fried clams, pasta with duck sausage and two glasses of red wine. When I want to lose, I eat less pasta, bread and potatoes.”
