Sonam Kapoor, Freida Pinto Drag Promote Aishwarya Rai Loreal

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan praised Sonam Kapoor and Freida Pinto, who became spokesperson for Loreal for their appearance at the Cannes Film Festival this year.

Told The Times of India he said, "I am happy with Sonam and Freida, two beautiful women who were invited to the festival this year. Signs that India accounted for. This is the marker that this country is important," he said.

The actress has recorded ten years as a representative of Indian female beauty through Loreal beauty products.

Is Angelina Jolie the new face of Louis Vuitton? A-list star believed to have secured $10m modelling deal

It certainly pays to be one of the world's most beautiful women.
Angelina Jolie is believed to have signed a deal worth almost $10million to star as the new face of Louis Vuitton.
The campaign, which would be the 35-year-old's highest-paying commercial endorsement to date, would see her follow in the footsteps of Madonna and Jennifer Lopez.
The news was reported by E!, which claims that celebrity photographer Annie Leibowitz will shoot the campaign within the next two weeks.
It said that the resulting images would be unveiled in print later this summer.
If the rumours are true, the A-list star will succeed a high-profile trio of supermodels.
Freja Beha Erichsen, Raquel Zimmermann and Kristen McMenamy appear in Louis Vuitton's current spring 2011 ads.
Prior campaigns have starred the likes of Madonna and Jennifer Lopez, while the label's Core Values series of advertisements, which support Al Gore's Climate Change project, boasts spokesmodels including Keith Richards, Catherine Deneuve and Sean Connery.
The Louis Vuitton campaign would not be Ms Jolie's first for a fashion brand, though, one hopes, it will be more successful.
She appeared in campaigns for St John from 2005 until last year, when brand bosses chose British supermodel Karen Elson to front the brand instead.
The label's chief executive Glenn McMahon told WWD that Ms Jolie 'overshadowed the brand'.
She explained: 'We wanted to make a clean break from actresses and steer away from blondes and cleanse the palette.'
Though Ms Jolie and partner Brad Pitt are parents to six children, three of which are adopted, she remains busy with both acting work and philanthropic commitments.

Emma Watson confirms she is transferring from Brown University... but denies it's because of 'bullying'

Emma Watson has confirmed she will be transferring from Brown University to another school this autumn.
The Harry Potter star's announcement comes just days after it was claimed the reason she put her studies on hold at the university was because she was taunted by her peers in class.
Watson's representative Vanessa Davies said the actress – who has a fortune estimated at £10million – had decided to pursue a course not offered at Brown, and  had 'absolutely loved' her time at the institution.
Davies also denied reports that Watson had been picked on at the Ivy League institution by fellow students.
Miss Watson is said to have been the subject of frequent jibes whenever she answered questions in lectures.

A source told the New York Daily News: ‘They would respond with a quote from Harry Potter. The most popular choice was, “Three points for Gryffindor!”’

Gryffindor is one of the competing houses at Hogwarts, the franchise’s school of wizardry. Miss Watson’s peers at the university in Rhode Island also shouted phrases from the film at her as she watched an American football game, it is alleged.

Miss Watson, who was studying European women’s history and drama, has admitted being ‘scared’ that she wouldn’t fit in when she arrived at the university in September 2009.

She said of her peers: ‘I was afraid they’d think, “You’re famous. You’re given free handbags. Why should you deserve to be normal?”’
Watson's peers also shouted phrases from the film at her as she watched an American football game, the newspaper reported.
Last month Watson, 21, announced she was putting her studies at the Providence, Rhode Island institution on hold.
'I will still be working towards my degree... it's just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought,' she wrote on her website.

As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I've had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible.'Watson is now busy working on a number of fashion projects before she turns her attention to the promotion trail when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is released in July.

Brown University is one of the top colleges in the United States, boasting alumni including former presidents, diplomats, royalty and a heavy sprinkling of celebrities' offspring.

It was number 1 for America's 'Happiest College Students', according to the Princeton Review 2010 rankings.

It has also been named 'the most fashionable school in the Ivy League' by the fashion trade journal Women's Wear Daily.

Watson achieved straight As in her A-levels before landing a place at the university.

A taste of things to come? Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are all dressed up at Easter Sunday matins ahead of the wedding

 

 While all eyes will be on Prince William and Kate Middleton at Friday's royal wedding, other members of the royal family will also attract attention for their outfits.
And his cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, looked as if they were getting in some early practice in the style stakes when they joined their royal relatives at this year's Easter Sunday matins service.
The sisters looked as if they were on their way to a wedding in their short, smart dresses, high heels and hats as they walked to the service at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Beatrice, 22, wore a light brown peplum style dress for the service, which she teamed with a patterned bag, dark brown shoes and an offbeat beige hat which rested just above her forehead.

Her younger sister Eugenie, 20, opted for a more conventional white dress and cream jacket, which she wore with nude heels and a white hat.
However their headgear was almost upstaged by that of the Countess of Wessex, who offset a simple navy frock with a huge blue fascinator style hatThe princesses joined other royals including their father Prince Andrew, uncle Prince Edward the Earl of Wessex, as well as the Princess Royal and her husband Tim Lawrence at the service.
The Queen - in a pale blue dress and matching hat - and Prince Philip were also in attendance at the chapel, in what is one of the last formal royal engagements before Friday's wedding.
Meanwhile the Archbishop of Canterbury has said in his Easter Sermon that true happiness in life comes from 'personal and communal fulfilment' rather than the narrow pursuit of material goals,

Dr Rowan Williams spoke of the joy which could be achieved by having an outward focus, fostering relationships with others and the world around them.
He said, 'It seems that, just as we can't find fulfilment in just loving ourselves, so we can't just generate happiness for ourselves. It comes from outside, from relationships, environment, the unexpected stimulus of beauty - but not from any programme that we can identify.'

He also referred to the impending nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton, and the opportunity for people to join in their celebration.
He said: 'It's nice and entirely appropriate that we are being encouraged to some public displays of shared celebration next Friday: let a thousand street parties blossom!'

The couple first began dating in 2007, and became engaged a year later, but they've weathered several breakups and makeups since then.
The couple called off their engagement in August last year.
It came as reports emerged that the two actors were taking a break earlier in the year.
A representative for Bilson, who starred in The O.C., told People magazine: 'Yes, the engagement is off.

Work commitments meant the couple had been living separate lives, with Rachel based in Los Angeles, while Hayden was in Canada.

But three months later in November 2010, it appeared that the couple couldn't bear to be apart and reportedly started dating again.

Since leaving the show she has moved into film, and was seen earlier this year in Waiting For Forever opposite Tom Sturridge.
