Jessica Simpson Meet Michelle Obama

JESSICA Simpson proved to have a patriotic side. 30-year-old singer, received a personal invitation from the United States First Lady Michelle Obama to sing to comfort military families on April 13, 2011 in Denver, Colorado.

As a staunch supporter of U.S. forces, Simpon not hide his happiness to receive this opportunity.

First Lady asked me to sing''for families of soldiers. This is a great honor for me, to be there and show my support and say thank you,''he said as quoted by usmagazine.com site.

Simpson's appearance is one of the events that are part of the initiative and Dr Michelle. Jill Biden, in honor of U.S. troops.

In a national tour for two days, the women will travel to Camp Lejeune, NC, San Antonia, Texas, Dencer, and Columbus, Ohio to observe the lives of troops.
